"This is to confirm that under Ben Steadman’s direction, Splash Promotions created an imaginative and highly successful event, tailor made for the opening of the Natural History Museum’s new Darwin Centre. The event consisted of a combination of world music, performance, dance and a film and video installation, inspired by the collections held in the Darwin Centre entitled Metamorphosis. The resulting event was a highly stimulating and sensitive evocation of the beauty and importance of the collections and of the natural world. The event was hugely successful both aesthetically, as a piece of science communication, and as art enjoyed by the invited guests who formed the audience.
